The Event Tech AV Difference
We Understand Your Voice:
The process of dreaming, researching and finally choosing an AV design and installation plan can sometimes be overwhelming and time consuming. Technology choices are vast and our team recognizes that our clients come from all different places in the technical knowledge spectrum, places that we as a company call a client's voice. Clients come to us with unique backgrounds - with some struggling to plug in their cable box to the TV, while others have technical systems in their head like they are plugged into the Matrix.
Our team will take the time to understand your unique individual voice, no matter where you are in your understanding of AV. We will spend time with you in our design to installation process making sure you are understood and you understand us. When we meet a client for the first time, the client might tell our team: “We want a sound system that is good enough for everyone to hear clearly.” What our team will interpret is: “We need Mains, Subs and Delays to fill the space but not over power. We need a Digital Console with 36-48 input channels”. In between the client and our tech team there can be void of technical language to standard english confusion.
We at Event Tech AV will make every effort to make sure we decipher the technical language into a voice our client can understand. We never want a client to walk away from a meeting or phone call with our team more confused than when they started. We appreciate questions, we don’t shy away from concerns, and our team will work hard to help you feel confident in your AV design and installation plan.
We Understand the Best Products:
Many Audio Visual Integrators build their business around brands. They build partnerships with manufacturers and even get kickbacks for having brand loyalty. Our Loyalty is to YOU! We certainly have brands that we know and trust but ultimately we are not trying to find the right customer to fit a product line or brand; we are trying to find the best brand to fit our customers.
With Event Tech AV, you the customer are not locked into a specific inventory, but instead are tapped into our wealth of product knowledge and vendor relationships. When you work with our team, we take the time to first understand your specific audio visual needs, event space and budget. We then research our vast database of products and choose the best brands and functionality to fit your specific situation. We have developed relationships with vendors of all the nations top brands and we use this relationship to negotiate great prices for your audio visual needs and price points.
We Understand Events:
Before starting Event Tech AV, our founder Bruce Gilson, spent over a decade designing and producing live events. He has extensive experience in large event production from the initial brainstorming session, to stage design and production of the event itself. Bruce’s live event experience ranges through the years from large church productions, broadway style shows, music concerts, corporate conferencing, international live orchestra movie tours, and he was the international broadcast technical producer of the Pope's visit to El Paso, Tx.
During Bruce’s time working with live events, he also designed AV systems for portable churches, designed and installed AV for large church event spaces, auditoriums, and recording studios for multi-site churches. Bruce’s experience with events and then AV installations became the foundation of Event Tech AV, a foundation in which our team understands that an AV installation is not judged by the completion of the installation, but by the draw of the curtain, and the impression of the audience.
We Understand Churches:
Often the needs of a Church or house of worship are very different then what we experience in other event spaces. Churches not only have their ministry goals that they hope to leverage technology to achieve but they also budgets, board of directors, volunteers and other important ministry departments to consider in every decision making process. We understand the balance of ministry needs and technology needs. We understand that ease of use must take priority over complexity. We know that volunteers have big hearts and limited time. We know that churches lean on their AV integrators not only for the initial install but for a long lasting relationship of support.
